$40 lawn tickets for the blink 182 show, worth every penny.
taking back sunday was bad live, but at least i got to hear my favourite song performed (MAKEDAMNSURE)
weezer was incredible live, never listened to much weezer but i knew most of the songs they played.
blink 182 was unbelievable. i never thought i'd end up seeing them live. i turned down tickets twice for the august 8th show because they were $90. i guess 3rd times the charm haha!

june 16th was the last day of exams for me, the last exam of my highschool LIFE.

and june 17th, was my first day of work at Corus Entertainment, a full time office job downtown, monday to friday, 8-4.

the whole summer i've been trying to decide if i regret taking on a full time job for the summer, the first day after my last exam. I have to admit i absolutely hate waking up every morning at 620 and not having the freedom to stay out late without wanting to kill myself the next morning, but when it comes down to it I can't complain (althought i know i do).

just like last summer, this job fell into my lap. and i am so fortunate to be employed for the summer. the work is repetitive but not demanding by any means and i am familiar with most of the people i work closely with.

i was looking back at the calendar on my phone and despite this job, i have done so many things this summer.

+rollerblading, biking, cleaned my room, swimming, bbq's, PARTIES, clubbing, sleepover at ryans loft :), the beach

today was potentially my last day of work. however it depends on some complicated contract stuff that i won't get into. but long story short, if i do get called back i would have to work next wednesday-friday with a lot of overtime hours.

i think if i get those hours i'm gonna buy myself a macbook pro.. however a big part of me does not want to go back to work.

I CANT WAIT TO SLEEP IN TOMORROW :)!

its just the second day of this city strike, and people already feel its necessary to dump their garbage at woodbine beach + other places

HONESTLY, it is ONLY day 2 of this ordeal. is it not possible to just keep it in your backyard or something for a few extra days omfg!??!?!! !!! 

... im extreeeeeeeeeeeemely angry about this because i wanted to go to woodbine beach on friday :(

tonight i was studying at tim hortons for my grade 12 bio final

half an hour in, i look over to the table next to mine

only to see someone studying with a big fat book labelled "MCAT" 

suddenly... i didn't feel like studying anymore.

sometimes it takes something like THAT to make me realize (again) how trivial highschool is.

maaan did i feel embarassed to be sitting around her LOL.

 

ok.. i guess i'll go finish up studying for this pointless exam. hahaha
